10 Truths to Speak Over Your Life Every Day

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly my thoughts – and therefore my attitude - can take a nosedive (Read more here).  Satan is especially cunning and deceptive in this area.  He wastes no time, or opportunity, to try to get us to believe lies about ourselves.  He hates us and longs to destroy us and anything else associated with the beauty and goodness of God (John 10:10).

Fortunately, we can turn our thoughts and attitudes around just as quickly when we replace the lies with the truth (Read more here).  It is important to speak these truths out loud if possible.  They go out where the world can hear – both the spiritual and physical world - and into our ears and down into our hearts where they can transform our minds (Romans 12:2).  Plus, the Lord tells us His word will not return to me empty but will accomplish His purposes (Isaiah 55:11).

Here are ten truths to speak over yourself today and every day:

1.    I am created with strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25, Genesis 1:27).

 2.    I am forgiven and restored when I confess and repent of my sin (1 John 1:9).

 3.    I am a masterpiece and therefore have immeasurable worth value and have one-of-a-kind design and detail (Psalm 139:13-14, Ephesians 2:10).

 4.    I am not perfect but am not condemned because God only sees Jesus’ righteousness when He looks at me (Romans 8:1, Philippians 3:9).

 5.    I am made with intentional purpose.  God has a specific plan for my life. (Psalm 139: 13-14, Psalm 57:2, Psalm 138:8).

 6.    I am never alone, God is a shield before me (Proverbs 30:5, Psalm 3:3, 18:2, 18:30).

 7.    The Lord delights in me and I in Him (Zephaniah 3:17, Psalm 37:4).

 8.    I have tremendous worth, and value and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit desire a personal relationship with me (John 3:16 – insert your name for “world”).

 9.    I have a place at the table with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

 10. I am strong and courageous for God is with me (Isaiah 41:10).
